Follow the
curiosity.
See where
it leads.

The Wild Explorers approach gives children physical and emotional space to learn through nature, play and hands-on experiences.

Book a Show-Around

Child-led does not mean hands-off
Skilled adults.
More room for children’s ideas.

Practitioners create safe boundaries, observe carefully and decide when joining in will support learning, and when stepping back gives children more ownership.

The aim is for children to become more independent, resilient and innately curious, with a lasting connection to nature.

We follow the familiar early years framework of Intent, Implementation and Impact, without turning every experience into a prescribed activity.

Provocation over prescription

“I wonder what they’ll do with this?”

A play provocation is open-ended. Rather than showing children a finished example to copy, practitioners introduce interesting materials or an environment and observe where children’s own ideas lead.

The process matters more than producing the same finished product.
